AWARDS FOR OUR ATHLETES

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun presented gifts to the athletes who achieved
success in the competitions, organized by the University Sports Federation,

and congratulated them. Drawing attention to the importance of sports, our
Rector said that they were happy with the achievements of our students. He
stated that Erciyes University had always made a name for itself not only in the
field of sports but also in many fields. After his speech, the athletes and

coaches who gained success in the competitions, held by the University Sports
Federation, were presented with their gifts.

GÜRKAN GENÇ

Gürkan Genç, who visited 68 countries by

bicycle, came together with the students at
the interview held at Erciyes University.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, Vice- Rector
Prof. Dr. Oktay Özkan, Secretary General Prof.
Dr. İbrahim Narin and students attended the

event held at Sabancı Cultural Complex with
the contributions of Etisan Holding.
Following the opening speech, Gürkan Genç,

having a nickname called “A Man on the Iron
Horse”, told his road trip stories.
The event ended after questions and answers
and the presentation of plaques.
