Dear Stakeholders,
We are proud that Erciyes University has made a name for itself in the world of
higher education. In addition to being a university that offers education and training
at international standards, produces innovative knowledge and technologies and

uses this knowledge for the benefit of society, it has adopted the principle of being
an environmentally sensitive and exemplary higher education institution.

As the Sustainability Coordinator, I strive to experience and sustain every aspect of
this principle. Our university's efforts in the field of sustainability reflect not only our
academic achievements, but also our contributions to society and the environment.
I am very happy to act together with you in this process.

Since the establishment of the Sustainability Coordination Office in 2023, our
university has taken important steps in this field. We have pioneered many
sustainability-themed projects and activities. We aim to contribute to society in

environmental, social and economic terms organizing activities and training with
the sustainable student community, which has members from each faculty on
campus.

We are proud and excited to crown the sustainability activities conducted on behalf
of our university with this integrated report. Especially the accomplishments we
have gained in the UI GreenMetric and THE 2024 rankings reveal the determination
and impact of our university on sustainability. The rankings we have achieved in the

QS rankings in Türkiye and worldwide show that we have progressed significantly .

Your support and contributions are invaluable to us in this process. We will advance
together towards a more sustainable future.

Thank you for being with us on our sustainability journey and I am delighted to
share our achievements with you.
