The results of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, one of the
most prestigious ranking organizations in the world, for the Sustainability 2024 were
announced. The QS World University Sustainability Ranking System evaluates the
universities in the following 3 categories: Environmental Impact, Social Impact,

Governance.
Our university which participated for the first time in the ranking, in which 23
universities in total, 18 state universities and 5 foundation universities, participated,
achieved a significant success by ranking in the 711-720 range in the world, 10th in our

country and 8th among state universities. In addition, in the sub-categories of the QS
World University Rankings: Sustainability, it was ranked 5th in the Governance Impact
category and 9th in the Environmental Impact category among the universities in our
country.
