INTRODUCTORY MEETING OF THE TUBITAK-1004 PROJECT

Our university organized an introductory meeting on “Sustainable Agricultural
Technologies Platform Compatible with Global Climate Change in Turkish
Agricultural Production” as part of the TUBITAK-1004 program.

Making a speech at the opening of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Özhan Şimşek, a
faculty member at the Faculty of Agriculture and Research Program Manager,
gave information about the project. He touched upon the importance of seed

growing. Our Rector stated in his speech that Erciyes University continues its
R&D studies with great effort and said that they were working on significant
projects.
Following his speech, Rector Altun presented certificates of appreciation to the
participants who contributed to the 1004 project.

INFORMATION MEETING ON TUBITAK 1001 PROJECTS

The Office of Dean for Research held an Information meeting on TUBITAK 1001
projects at the Conference Hall of the Rectorate. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun
drew attention to the achievements of Erciyes University students. Assoc. Prof.

Gökmen Zararsız, Dean of Research, gave information to the participants about
the activities of the Office of Dean for Research. Lecturer Ali İhsan Yoğurt made
a presentation on TUBITAK 1001 program applications and projects.
