HORIZON EUROPE PROGRAM INTRODUCTORY MEETING
“Horizon Europe Program General
Introductory Meeting” was held by
the Office of Dean for Research
with the participation of our Rector
Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun. Our
researchers showed great interest
in the meeting.
TEKNOFEST
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun presented certificates of appreciation and plaques to the
students of our university for their achievements at TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space, and Technology
Festival during a ceremony held at the Senate Hall. He also gave information to the students
about the protocols signed and internship opportunities provided by our university as part of the
university-industry cooperation.
The achievements of the students of our university are as follows:
In the International UAV competitions, the Vortex Uav Team of our university came in first in
Türkiye,
The Optimal Route Team was ranked first in Türkiye in the category of Smart Cities and
Transportation,
The EnvironPro Team won the second place in Türkiye in the “Health” sub-category,
The HAVTEK Team was ranked third in Türkiye in the Vertical Landing Rocket Competition,
The ARF-203 Team won the fifth place in Türkiye in the Agricultural Unmanned Ground
Vehicle Competition,
Students of the VNEURAL Team came in fifth in Türkiye in the Artificial Intelligence in Health
main category,
Sangal UAV Team and GOKAY UAV Team were entitled to receive the International
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition performance award.
