STUDENT PROJECT CALLS TRAINING

Erciyes University Office of Dean for Research provided TUBITAK 2209-A project
writing training for the students of Sustainability Student Community. Lecturer
Orbay Çağlayan Şimşek gave information about project grants and research

programs, project writing and execution. At the end of the training, the advisors
of the community students were determined and project writing processes
were initiated.

INAUGURATION OF TUSAS SPACE SCIENCES AND SATELLITE TECHNOLOGIES LABORATORY

Turkish Aerospace (TUSAS) Space Sciences and Satellite Technologies
Laboratory was inaugurated in the Research Centers and Laboratories building
of our university. Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Governor Gökmen
Çiçek, Metropolitan Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, TUSAS Director General

Temel Kotil, ERU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Altun, ERU Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Oktay
Özkan, Prof. Dr. Sultan Taşcı and Prof. Dr. M. Hakan Poyrazoğlu, Secretary
General Prof. Dr. İbrahim Narin, TUSAS officials, academics and students
attended the opening ceremony.
