AWARENESS EVENT ON OCTOBER 12 WORLD ARTHRITIS DAY

The Department of Rheumatology/ERU Faculty of Medicine
held an awareness event at the Meeting Hall of Gevher Nesibe
Hospital on the occasion of “October 12 World Arthritis Day”.
Making a speech during the event, Assoc. Prof. Soner Şenel,

Head of the Rheumatology Department, gave information
about rheumatism and pointed out that it also reduces the
patient's quality of life psychologically and financially. In
addition, Assoc. Prof. Ayşenur Kısaaralan Paç, a faculty
member at the Department of Rheumatology, gave
information about pediatric rheumatology.
After the meeting, saplings were planted in the Rheumatology

Forest on Mount Ali by the faculty members of the
Rheumatology Department.

SEMINAR: ART AND HEALING TALKS ON BOOKS

On the occasion of May 19 Prof. Dr. Cemal Alper Kemaloğlu,

Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,
Sports Day, a seminar on “Art and organized talks on books to increase
Healing” on the healing power of art cognitive awareness and to support
and love was held by Prof. Dr. Oya personal development. The book,
Levendoğlu, Dean of the Faculty of Fine “The Meaning of Anxiety”, by Rollo

Arts . May was discussed at the first event.

FREE TIME IS ALSO INCLUDED IN EDUCATION

Activities are organized throughout the university to
increase art and sports opportunities for mental and
physical health. One of these activities was organized at the
Faculty of Medicine. A painting-tile workshop and a yoga-

pilates room, which is effective for stress management, were
opened for our students.
