EUROPEAN WEEK FOR WASTE REDUCTION
In partnership with Melikgazi
Municipality and ERCEVREM, the
Sustainability Community and
Environment and Zero Waste Club
Students organized a traditional
waste collection event in Hisarcık
Kırlangıç Valley. The event aimed to
raise environmental awareness and
contribute to zero waste target. Our
students who collected waste were
given food to give animals.
LEAVE A GREEN MARK FOR THE FUTURE
In partnership with the Sustainability Student Community,
Environment and Zero Waste Club and Business Club, paper
waste was collected in recycling bins during the exam period at
the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and
usable student notes were shared with lower semester students.
WASTE MATERIAL WORKSHOP
The Sustainability Student Community organized a
Waste Material Workshop on October 26-27, 2023 to
raise awareness of students outside the community
by informing them about how to reuse unused,
degraded or destroyed products.
BOOK EXCHANGE
The Sustainability Student Community initiated a
book swap event on October 26-27, 2023 to increase
solidarity among students and raise financial
awareness. The event continued throughout the
semester. As students exchanged books with each
other, the concept of social sustainability and
economic sustainability made sense.
